Male dominance isn’t the default in primate societies, new study shows
It’s a man’s world when it comes to ape societies — at least, that’s been the prevailing assumption for years. But some recent research is shaking up how we think about this group of primates to which humans belong. Rebecca Lewis, a professor of anthropology at the...Indonesians uprooted by mining industry call for a fairer future amid presidential vote
SIDOARJO, Indonesia — On the eve of Indonesia’s presidential election on Feb. 14, a group of people from across the country gathered at an impromptu art exhibition by the side of a main road in Sidoarjo district, East Java province. One canvas, propped up on a...A feathered cape bridges past and present for Brazil’s Indigenous Tupinambá
A central figure in many Indigenous systems is that of the Enchanted Ones, ancestral entities thought to connect the earthly world and the spiritual world. Some of these contacts are said to occur through dreams, liturgies or dances. For Glicéria Tupinambá, an...Major meatpacker JBS misled the public about sustainability efforts, NY lawsuit claims

Our Support
NOTE: We post articles because we think they are of interest. Doing so doesn’t mean that I necessarily agree with every—or any—opinion in the posted article. And although we often post about disagreements, it is VERY important to understand that we agree and proudly support, more of the ideas of U.S. Leaders than disagreed. (it is just part of democracy, it gives balance and is vital)
Word of the year:
Freedom isn't free, just ask any soldier.
From me to you - Thanks!
No I don't support the idea of never ending war in our world.
But I do have to support the people who have given me the right and freedom to complain about it.
Please support our veterans by doing anything you can to boost theirs spirits and hope.

WARNING: coffee is harmful to the environment, small woodland animals and people who like to maintain status quo
