The Department of Health Services Receives another Temporary Extension of the SeniorCare Program

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announced it is granting the Department of Health Services (DHS) an additional temporary extension of Wisconsin’s SeniorCare waiver. This is the second extension DHS has received in 2019 for the SeniorCare waiver, which expired at the end of 2018. This 60-day temporary extension allows the program to continue until March 31, 2019, as CMS finalizes its review of the application for a long-term extension.
