Wind Power Storage
One of the problems with wind power is that when there is no wind then there is no power. Offshore wind could provide abundant electricity — but as with solar energy, this power supply can be intermittent and unpredictable. A new approach from researchers at MIT...EV Range Anxiety Cure?
As an electric vehicle fan, I can appreciate the range anxiety concern. I am driving a Chevy Volt which is great since it has a range extending gasoline engine. Since I enjoy driving in in EV mode so much, and that range is only 35 – 40 miles for me, I decided...2012-2013 College and University Green Power Challenge
Throughout the 2012-13 academic year, EPA’s Green Power Partnership tracked the collegiate athletic conferences with the highest combined green power usage in the nation. The Green Power Challenge is open to all U.S. colleges, universities, and conferences. To...23 New England Colleges Join Effort to Reduce Food Waste
Twenty-three colleges and universities in New England have joined an EPA effort to cut the amount of food that goes to waste. This doubles the participation of EPA’s Food Recovery Challenge in 2013, since eleven New England colleges and universities were already...Subscribe to EHS Newletter

Our Support
NOTE: We post articles because we think they are of interest. Doing so doesn’t mean that I necessarily agree with every—or any—opinion in the posted article. And although we often post about disagreements, it is VERY important to understand that we agree and proudly support, more of the ideas of U.S. Leaders than disagreed. (it is just part of democracy, it gives balance and is vital)
Word of the year:
Freedom isn't free, just ask any soldier.
From me to you - Thanks!
No I don't support the idea of never ending war in our world.
But I do have to support the people who have given me the right and freedom to complain about it.
Please support our veterans by doing anything you can to boost theirs spirits and hope.
I write a lot of this before I have my coffee.
Getting up every morning before 4am... the only thing that looks good is coffee.

but he may want to try it on his new job.
WARNING: coffee is harmful to the environment, small woodland animals and people who like to maintain status quo
